An evening with John Tams at St Andrews Church

8 November

Doors 7pm for 7-30 start

Live at Sams and Bright Phoebus are delighted to present  an evening  with John Tams , at Saint Andrews Church, Psalter lane Sheffield S11 8YL

John has been on my booking wish list  for a long time, I was introduced to him as a boy, he is also somebody who I am honoured to call my friend so we are so excited about this gig.

John Tams described by Mojo as ‘one of the ultimate British songwriters’ has had a career spanning four decades in every medium.
A member of the Albion Band and Home Service he is perhaps best known for his work at the National Theatre and as Rifleman Daniel Hagman in the Sharpe television series.

He is a seven times winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, including an award for Best Duo, with longtime collaborator and friend Barry Coope.  He is the Songmaker for Warhorse, a member of the original creative team and has toured the world with the production
